Legionella Pneumophila Test:
The bacteria originate in the natural aquatic environments and when inhaled in the shower water or in aerosols can cause severe respiratory infection. It develops in water at 25 to 45 ° C and dies at 60 ° C in 2 minutes and immediately at 70 ° C. The recent Decree-Law No. 52/2018 refers to the obligation to prepare the risk assessment of the Facilities and plans for the prevention and control of Legionnaire's disease (Legionella).
